The ‘Science Graffiti Wall’ is a scientific dissemination project of the Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF), in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil. By unifying art, science, puzzles and interactivity, this project informs, innovates, amuses and contributes to the revitalization of the public space.
Painted on CBPF’s exterior wall, by Gabriela L. Tores, artist from Rio de Janeiro, the ‘Science Graffiti Wall’ celebrates science as an important form of culture, with emphasis on physics and related areas - fields of activity of the institution.

The ‘Science Graffiti Wall’ is located at Rua Lauro Muller, 455 at the Brazilian Center for Physics Research (CBPF), between the borders of Botafogo and Urca neighborhood in Rio.
The graffiti is about 10-minute walk from the Sugar Loaf’s cable-car entrance (Pão de Açucar - Praça General Tibúrcio), one of the most breathtaking sceneries in Rio.
